Details

Circa early 20th century, an opposing pair of baluster form jars with panelled decoration of ducks in a lotus pond, and a peacock beside plum blossoms, iron red four character marks to base and one example with a hardwood cover. A jar and cover with reserve white-ground circles, and a sauce jug

Condition Note

There is a chip to the foot on one baluster jar, a small rim frit to the other example and the gilding has abraded from both. There is a chip to the porcelain cover
