What is Hotlotz Marketplace?

Hotlotz Marketplace offers a diverse range of pre-owned treasures, including collectibles, art, furniture, home decor, designer fashion, and jewellery, all available for instant purchase.

Unlike other online marketplaces, we ensure your peace of mind by taking physical custody of every item we sell. Each piece is appraised and valued by a Hotlotz specialist and then offered for sale at a fixed price.

Our items are available for a limited time and sold on a 'first come, first served' basis.

What is Hotlotz? How is Hotlotz affiliated with the Marketplace?

Hotlotz is a leading auction house based in Singapore. It has been operating for over 10 years and specialises in Asian Works of Art, Collectibles, Designer & Luxury, Decorative Arts, Fine Art, Interior Decor, Jewellery, Peranakan Works of Art, Watches, Wine & Spirits, and other items of quality. 

The Auction House and Marketplace are owned and operated by Hotlotz Group Holdings.

How does the Marketplace work?

Items are offered for immediate purchase at a fixed price in the Marketplace. They are available to purchase for a limited time, on a first come, first served basis.

What kind of items can I expect to find offered for sale in the Marketplace?

The Marketplace offers a wide range of specialist-curated items, and new arrivals are added regularly. They include:

  • Preowned items of quality that have been sourced by Hotlotz, and that have been evaluated by a Hotlotz specialist
  • Items that were previously unsold in a Hotlotz auction that have been given a ‘second-chance’ with a fixed price Marketplace listing
  • Items from collaborations with carefully selected partners
Can I view items?

Items can be inspected in the Hotlotz saleroom. To ensure a smooth inspection so that we know to expect you, you can submit the enquiry form on the product page you wish to view, or email us at hello@hotlotz.com. Please note that requesting an inspection does not remove the item from sale in the Marketplace so the item may be sold before an inspection can be arranged.

How can I tell if an item is preowned or new?

Most items offered are preowned.

Check the product description and images in the catalogue and look for any condition notes provided by the cataloguers. If in doubt, please request a condition report or additional images or video.

Viewing in person is recommended whenever possible at the Hotlotz saleroom during opening hours.

Buying

Are prices negotiable?

Prices in Hotlotz Marketplace are fixed and are non-negotiable.

Are prices ever reduced?

Unsold items may have reduced prices after a certain period of time. Items with reduced prices are clearly indicated on our platform and can be found in our Clearance collection.

Are all unsold items from Hotlotz auctions available for purchase at fixed prices in the Marketplace?

No. If you are interested in buying an item that was unsold in a Hotlotz auction that isn’t available for sale in the Marketplace, please send an email to hello@hotlotz.com. Make sure that you include the title of the auction the item was featured in, the lot number, and your name and phone number.

Do ‘buyer’s premium’ fees apply?

No. A buyer’s premium fee is only charged on items that are sold in auction.

Do prices include free shipping?

No we do not offer free shipping. You may opt to collection directly from the Hotlotz Saleroom at no cost.

What payment methods does the Marketplace accept?

We accept payment made with Visa, Mastercard, American Express and China UnionPay (CUP).

Which currencies can I shop in?

All items in the Marketplace are priced in Singapore dollars.

Returns

Can I return an item?

Once your purchase is complete and payment has been made, the item is non-returnable.

It is really important to note that these are secondary market items are sold ‘as is’. This means they are offered in their current condition at the time of sale.

To ensure your full satisfaction before purchase, we recommend viewing the items of interest in the saleroom or requesting additional information or images by email.

Every item sold in the Hotlotz Marketplace is however covered by our one-year guarantee. In the unlikely event there's an issue with an item's authenticity we will refund the purchase price. This specifically applies to the information in UPPER CASE in the item's title.

Shipping

What are the shipping options and rates?

A flat fee of $50 applies for delivery of qualifying items to any address in Singapore. These items can also be consolidated with other qualifying items into a single shipment at no extra cost. Qualifying items include all items within the 'Designer & Luxury', 'Jewellery', and 'Collectibles' marketplace categories.

Your eligibility for our flat-fee delivery service will be verified during the checkout process. We entrust delivery to our premium last-mile partner, experts in the transportation of luxury items.

For all other items, we offer bespoke local and international delivery. Following your purchase, our Client Services team will contact you directly to provide a tailored shipping quotation.

Where are items dispatched from?

All items are currently dispatched from the Hotlotz Saleroom in Singapore.

Do you provide international shipping?

Yes. Hotlotz’s internal logistics team can arrange international shipping with preferential rates from major shippers. To have your order shipped internationally, select 'Custom Quote' at checkout. Quotes are provided case‑by‑case; there is no published fixed mark‑up.

Can I self collect my order or arrange my own shipping?

Yes. Self‑collection is available at the Hotlotz saleroom, 28 Jalan Kilang Barat, Singapore 159362. Items are generally ready for collection the next working day after cleared payment.

If arranging your own courier, please ensure adequate manpower and packing. Hotlotz provides only limited, often recycled, packing materials at the saleroom.

Packing fee: When using Hotlotz‑organised shipping, packing is included in the quoted rates. For self‑arranged couriers, packing is your responsibility.
