Details

A large 18th century dish with rounded sides, decorated in hastily painted blue underglaze flowers and leaves, underside with three floral branches, lozenge mark to base within double rings, for similar examples see Bintan shipwreck; and another large dish (probably 18th century) of dense reserve decoration, brown washed rim, unmarked base

Condition Note

The reserve decorated dish has hairlines and fritting to the rim, the other dish appears in fine condition (apart from a matte finish to the glaze from saltwater exposure)
